Left for Dans on Thursday evening with far too much stuff and my washing, just for the weekend. Have booked the day off work on Friday so have a 4 day weekend! Arrived at Dans a bit later than normal and we had jacket potatoes for tea at 8pm, by that time I was starving! On Friday, Dan went off for work and I stayed in bed. Lazed around all morning and then walked in to town in the afternoon, tried on some clothes which fitted very well but didn’t like any of it!
Felt like a real housewife, preparing the dinner for when Dan got home! I made lasagne then we went to Sainsburys and bought some nice food for the weekend, came home and chilled out all evening.
Saturday was a hot day again. Got up and went into town to get stuff for France. Dan went to Halfords and bought some bulbs and stuff for the car which you seem to need in France. I bought £10 worth of stuff in Superdrug and feel prepared now! Also bought a book on low pay in Britain. Dan bought a couple of books too, all for reading whilst on holiday! Went to PC world in Bath in the car, can’t wait to move there :)
Sunday was a lazy day, Dan taught me how to do some website stuff and I feel very clever now :) Read lots of my book which was meant to be for France! Very interesting. Went for a walk in the evening around the river and park near Dans house!
Bank holiday Monday- didn’t get out of bed until 12. Lazed around all day doing not very much. Read nore book and only have two chapters left- ooops!

Dan arrived with some flowers after saying nasty things about me on IRC- I had cooked sweet and sour chicken which was yummy! We went to the Wetherspoons next to my work (near Temple Meads) and met Ross. Lots of drinking of Reef that was about to go out of date for just 99p a bottle! Ross and I were discussing old times and how we are the ‘thick ones’!!!!!! Ha ha! Walked home in a bit of a drunken state and looked at the One Stop which is being transformed into a Tesco Express! I am so excited :) They were working hard and it was 11.30pm- it should be opening on 8th September!
Another exciting day at work but I have been taught how to do purchase orders now which means I will get more work to do which can only be a good thing :)
Ross came round in the evening to discuss the plans for the pub tomorrow. Chatted for a couple of hours and then he went home and I talked to Dan on the phone for a bit then went to bed! Didn’t eat much today which was good and had some soup and pasta for tea. Yummy!
Dans Grans 80th Birthday party today so off we went in the car to Worcester via the county lanes. Took an hour and a half to get there but lovely views of the the Cotswolds and we still there before everyone! The hotel where we were having lunch looked quite expensive and had views over a gorgeous river. I had Tomato soup, Chicken in Red pepper sauce and Fruit salad. It was all lovely, and went down wel with the wine :) We went back to Dans uncle Peters where his Gran had cake and presents! Lovely afternoon and some sparkling wine :) Not too scary in front of Dans family too- there were his mum and dad, uncle, auntie and niece and his Gran!
Went to sleep ealry due to alcohol drinking in the afternoon!
Slept so much again, it was wonderful. Had a lovely chat with Dan in bed this morning. He is so sweet and things are really good :) Had a bath and lots of breakfast (grapefruit, rice crispies and toast!) then at about 12 we wandered to the train station and got on a train to Bath. Yay for Bath, it is so lovely, we spend 3 hours wandering around the shops and Dan managed to buy 2 pairs of trousers in Burtons and a fantastic pair of SHORTS in fat face! We bought a card and CD for his Gran and I bought some boxes in WHSmiths to go with my IKea ones coz they were half price. Had wonderful low fat sandwiches from M&S, then at about 4, we got to the top of the shopping street and found all the letting agents! Decided that we should be able to get somewhere for the £550 we want to pay and went in the Slug and Lettuce for some drinks! I was a little bit tipsy then and wandered round Bath with a postcard shoved down my top and Dan said I was embarrassing. Went back to the train station along Dorchester Street whilst I spoke in a loud Dorset accent! Dan said I was embarrassing again! Got back to Dans flat at just after 5, cooked yummy Chicken wraps and chilled out all evening, wrapping pressies and watching TV. What a lovely day- I can’t wait to move to Bath!
In bad mood at work all day. Fed up with everything. Argh to PMT. Went to Dans for the weekend. Had a couple of drinks this evening and feel tired and drunk! :)
