Drove back from Dans at silly early time in the morning, had shower at mine and went to work. House in mess and I have PMT. Not good. Meeting at work and our team is going to be renamed and we are going to get some new people, this may take some time though :)
Went over to Dans in the evening as not coping well with mess. Fell asleep on the floor at 8.30 and at 9.30 Dan sent me off to bed. I had the best nights sleep ever!

Boring day at work going to some workshop thing which meant I didn’t get to leave until 4.15 so got to Dans a bit late. Chilled out all evening and ate the most amount of food ever!

Had boring day and went swimming in the evening!

Had a pretty unexciting day at work then got text from Jacki at 5ish asking if I wanted to go to Alecs birthday do tonight in Clifton so I stayed at work and am now 9 hours up on my flexi time! Walked into the centre with instructions to meet by steps with water. After living in Bristol for 5 months, I was still unsure where they were but guessed they were near the centre somewhere- and I managed to find them! Met Jacki and we walked up to Clifton and got some pints in as noone else was there! Alec turned up about 5 mins later with Mappy, Miles, Gemma Bridge and her housemate Liz. Jacki and I managed to get drunk and we all had pizza. Much embarrassing talk with Miles about Alec and more embarrassing comments in front of everyone! Decided that we had made complete fools out of oursleves (even though it was very funny) and left at 10.30. Tried to find buses but no luck and Jacki wasn’t even sure which one to get anyway so we walked all the way home. Stopped on College Green to send completely embarrassing email to Alec which involved me phoning James to ask for his email address while Jacki typed the message. Oh dear! Made it home at 11.15 and talked to Dan then feel drunkenly asleep!

HOT. Got up at 1 after not going to bed til 4am! Went to Gran and Grandad’s, James’s and tried to go to my Dad’s but he wasn’t in. Left Dorchester at 6ish, got back to Bristol at 8 and had lasagne, Dan went home and I went to bed!

Awoke at 9ish, showered under the fantastic power shower and me, mum, and Dan went for a walk. Paddled in the stream where I used to when I was young and saw Sparky’s Puppy again! Will I ever be able to escape?! It was VERY hot out so quickly gave up and went home. Off to Gran and Grandads and a trip to Tesco. They bought us some wine and stratch cards- I won £3 altogether : ) Home to rest for a bit then shower again, drinking of the wine and getting ready to go out. Left for the Sun Inn at 6 with Dan and Mike, while mum picked up Gran and Grandad. I felt drunk already. Not good. The Sun Inn was lovely and had a gorgeous Gammon steak and another bottle of wine. Dan and I were now drunk! Walked in to Dorchester at about 8ish and went to Wetherspoons, got a lot more drunk and don’t really remember much from then on. Saw Laura Gundry and Jacki’s sister Mel. Went to Pauls, 70’s night. All drunken blur of people such as Jon Ivens- Brown and Kev Smith. Drunken dancing to Another one bites the dust and Bo Rhap. Pauls closed at 2 and off we went to the kebab shop- Oh dear! The temptation was too great- Chips in Pitta bread with Grated cheese! Ate that whilst watching a random fight with Graeme and Lewis then Dan and I left to walk home. Very scary as no street lights and finally got back at 4am but at least it was cool! Collapsed unconscious.

Yay Friday at last! Nothing to do in the morning at work apart from wait for James to text me so we could go for lunch. Finally got a message at 1.05 and wandered off to the Shakespeare and had a vodka and lemonade after waiting for ages at the bar! Sat outside in the heat and got very HOT. There was no shade anywhere to be seen! Went back to work where didn’t do anything all afternoon apart from wait for James to contact me again. 5.30 came and finally a call from James. Off we go to the Wetherspoons where it was Cats last day! She served me the last drink (double Vodka this time) and we sat in the pub for bit. Left and got call from Dan saying he was outside my house- Ooops, we were still at Temple Meads. He said he would come and pick us up! Manic packing of washing and stuff then we left for Dorset at 7.30pm. Stopped at Tesco Express in Whitchurch where I purchased some lovely Chicken wraps which were only 4% fat. Arrived home in Charminster to be attacked by the dogs and decided to go to the pub to escape at 9.30. Went to the Three Compasses for the first time ever and had to walk down scary roads with no lights or pavements to get there. Could not escape dogs as one of Sparky’s puppies was there and was exactly the same! Arrrggggh! Nightmare! Mum and me got drunk while Mike and Dan managed to cope with their drink a lot better than us! Wandered home and went to bed exhausted!

6.30 am Wake up and pack nearly dry clothes into bag, kiss a half asleep Dan and leave for Bristol.

7.15am Arrive Bristol. Decide cannot go on with life until I clean the bathroom, which I do at 7.30am. Does anyone else in the world feel this urge to clean things at ridiculous times in the morning!? Managed to have shower and go to work arriving at 8.15 so not all bad.

4pm- Still at work as trying to build up flexi time, Frank gives me an exercise to do with maps and it is the most interesting thing I have done so far! Emailed James for help too.

6.30pm – Finally get home and get ready to go swimming. Drive to Bedminster and go round in circles for a while looking for swimming pool. Find it and drive round for another 10 mins trying to find somewhere to park. The pool was 8 metres bigger than the one I went to on Tuesday so only managed 20 lengths this time. Went to Asda to buy a few, was very tired at this point and sat on the floor to look and something and a woman started laughing at me and telling me how more people should have a ‘non-caring’ attitude. Told her on diet and had just been swimming and had no energy, to which she told me I didn’t need to be on diet! Had nice chat with the checkout man and drove home.

9pm – An idiot has parked in my space. I wander to the pub and the bar woman goes round asking everyone who the car belongs to. No one owns up. Realise there is a phone number on the side of the car, ring it and they say sorry and come out and move the car! Cook Chicken stir and eat very quickly as only eaten two crumpets all day! Talk to Dan and go to bed at 10.30pm!

Left work at 3.30 and drove over to Dans where I had the weekly fun of putting all my washing on in one go and hoping in dries by the next morning (oh I can’t wait to get a washing machine again). Dan and Rich arrived home from work- decided Rich was mad as was wearing a suit in the insane heat! I had put all my clothes in the washing machine so had to borrow a pair of Dan’s jeans to try and look vaguely respectable! Dan cooked yummy spag bol and we drank some wine J Felt a bit tipsy and fell asleep whilst watching Monty Python. Rich left and had an early night due to the fact that I didn’t sleep much the night before (too hot). Had a lovely relaxing evening.
