Woke up feeling not too wonderful and Dan ran me a bath! Went off to Ikea at lunchtime and bought some new pictures for the front room and some other bits and bobs then went back home and began to do the cleaning. I cleaned the 2 bathrooms while Dan did the front room! That took all afternoon. Cooked low fat sausages, which were yummy and also emptied the kitchen cupboards of all the stuff!
Watched some TV and had an early night due to still feeling a little awful from the night before!
Met Keith and Romi after work and managed to get VERY drunk! Dan arrived to pick me up at 7 and we stayed for another couple and saw some people I know from work and Cats mates. Got home, threw up and passed out by 9.20pm! Oooops!
Extreme frustration! I didn’t manage to bring any lunch today as was feeling quite ill. Although I don’t have much money left for the rest of the month (£19), I was quite prepared to go and buy some. Went to Temple Meads station- NOTHING. Went to the newsagents- NOTHING. Went to the sandwich shop- NOTHING (and none of it told me how much fat it had in it anyway) and the last try- The canteen at work- NOTHING. I don’t think I am being too fussy but I don’t want to eat things with cheese, chips or butter in them but at the same time, I would like to eat a variety and something that is interesting, not a jacket potato with no butter and baked beans. I gave up and bought some milk and had two bowls of cereal instead. Rarrrrr!
On another note, International Pirates Day. Arrrr me hearties!
Had boring day at work and felt ill in the afternoon- Left early and went to bed at 4- Got out of bed once to make Soup and pasta. That was it.
Went to work- Left at 3.30. Waited at home for a while wondering if Jo was going to come home as she was moving her stuff out. No sign of her so left her a note and left at 4.30. Got to Dans at 5.30 and started making lasange and did the washing up. He got home and had bought me some new earplugs to try. Will I ever get any sleep?! He also brought some salad for the meal and some bread rolls. Sat down and ate (yummy) food and had an evening without TV. Played around with Microsoft money. Will I ever have any money?! Had a nice chat and went to bed.
Trying to tidy my room!

On another note, Jo came home and packed up all her stuff. Gave her a hand whilst also tidying my room. Didn’t manage to go swimming. Damn it.
Got up late and realised that Dan has left loads of his stuff in Bristol! Kevin gave Cat and I a lift to work and managed to get in by 9am! Before leaving, we said our Good byes to Gavin too! It has been a fantastically mad weekend! I am so poor now though and its two weeks and a day until Payday! Managed to stay in work until 5pm and then went home to clean up the mess we had made over the weekend! Did most of it before Cat got home, then cooked cottage pie and watched Corrie. Started cleaning my room but it now looks worse than it did before. I have been living out of a suitcase for weeks and I have finally managed to put the clothes on the floor instead. Great. Talked to Dan and had an evening night due to falling asleep whilst tidying!
Managed to finally get out of bed and Dan ran me a bath. The shower hose was broken so we got a new one from B&Q while the others went to Tesco to get BBQ food. Food started about 2 ish and there were me, Dan, Cat, Gavin, Kevin and Cats friend Lisa. We took photos of Kevins bum and started drinking wine. Drank lots and ate lots! By Mid afternoon, we were all fairly drunk and did Queen Kareoke in the garden. Many plans made for the Queen convention next year- The 3 minute musical and Our version of 7 days by Craig David sung with the words of lazing on a Sunday afternoon! We also had a short visit from Neil who had been in Bristol for the weekend! I feel sorry for the neighbours and anyone walking up the Wells Road! :) The rest seems a drunken blur really apart from the evening when I managed to sober up. We watched some TV including the God channel then went off to bed. What a weekend!
Photos from the weekend!
Picked up Cat and Gavin and off we went via Charminster again for a change of clothes. Drove to London in record time (2 hours 15) and parked on random street which we guessed was near the venue- Got changed again in the street this time. Set off to find Imperial College- got to the end of the road and there it was! Then walked round in massive circle and found the entrance to the Freddie Mercury Birthday Party! Very small bar and stage and we instantly thought that was no chance that Roger or Brian would turn up. Saw a few people we know and Ste & Lee turned up. Bought a Queen t-shirt and stood near the stage. After the random Queen fans had sung a few songs and the karaoke had finished, Jeff Scott Soto came on stage- very long set but it was good. There were some very annoying people next to us who must have been on drugs. Jeff sang lots of cool Queen stuff and also remembered Cat for shouting ‘Take your trousers off’ at him! He even sang to her at one point! About 3 hours left, he finally finished, chatted for a bit to people and then left by 11. Drove through massive traffic jam passed the Albert Hall (Last night of the Proms), asked a random old man if he was Roger Taylor, and got to the Tottenham Court Road where we took photos of the Freddie statue and had burger King. More Traffic jams and got to Tower Bridge where we viewed David Blaine in a box (twat in a box). Finally got out of London at 1am and ended up back in Bristol at 3am!
Got up at 9.30 and had bacon sandwiches! Packed 3 sets of clothes for the day and checked we had the tickets! Managed to leave by 10.45 and arrived in Charminster by 12.15. Dan and I got changed in to our smart clothes whilst the dogs attacked Cat and Gavin! Left at 12.45 and made in down to Weymouth in plenty of time. Dropped Cat and Gavin off to wander while Dan and I found the church. Parked in a building site so mum worried about my car. The Christening was short and Dan did the videoing. Took some photos and laughed when David’s friends arrived late. Gran handed me an envelope on the sly, which had £20 in it! Went back to Laura’s mums quickly and she forced us to take some food which us as we had to leave straight away! Gave David the present- a baby stride to ride thing- a car thing that Morgan sits on and pushes herself along on. It plays music and has spinny things too!
