Pay Day- at last!!! Have transferred all the money I need to pay off bills and stuff and have ended up with £100 left. Oh well. At least I am paying off one of my loans this month! Went to the pub at lunch with Cat and Gavin who had just arrived on a flight from Glasgow for the weekend. Spent an hour and a half in there and had far too much to drink, then went back to work for an hour and a half and left again to go to the pub with Will. By the time the rest of the work people had arrived, Will had left and Cat and Gavin had arrived. Had a quick drink then walked over to Yates to meet Becky. Dan arrived to pick us up at 6.30 and we went home. Gavin and I went over to Tesco and I bought a block of cheese!!! Dan drove us up to the fish n chip shop in Knowle and I got a large battered sausage, fish cake, chips and garlic bread with cheese! Gavin was reading the Freeads and found a bloke selling a broken fridge for £2 so we decided to text him and ask if he was Roger Taylor!! Went back and drank far too much alcohol and watched Queen DVD’s!!!
Back to work and managed a long day. Went home, had a bath and lazed around all evening :)

Had the day off as a flexi day as I was going to clean the house but managed to do that last week and just wanted a day off anyway!!! Got up about midday and then Cat and I set off to Aztec West to collect her stuff from her work! The car didn’t start but as we live on a big hill, I just rolled down the hill and it started! Got to a petrol station in Gloucester Road and the car wouldn’t start again! I had to push while Cat had to control the car and some woman volunteered to help us push! Called out the AA who turned up in 10 mins which I was amazed at as the weather was awful! He hit the car with a hammer and it started again and told us it was the starter motor and it may need replacing. Drove to Aztec West and had to sit outside with the engine on incase it didn’t start again! Got back home about 3pm in the end and ate some soup and spent the rest of the day lazing around doing nothing.

House hunting- well Dan and I had a long chat about it and did some budgetting and although we can afford a one bedroom flat in Bath somewhere near the city centre, we decided that with all the hassle that goes along with it (no space, no parking- bath is awful for parking- and paying silly sums of money for parking perits which don’t guarentee you a space!!) that we might aswell give up so have decided on a new plan. We are going to live on the Bristol edge of Chippenham so it will be similar miles to drive to work for me, and also means that Dan can walk to work. Chippenham is not going to be totally wonderful, it being a small town and stuff but hopefully as I am working in Bristol, at least I can escape!!!!!! :) We can get a 2 bedroom new house with garden and allocated parking for 2 cars for around £500 and because I will have to commute, Dan is going to pay more rent then me!!!
Went to Glasnost in the evening with Jacki, Ross, Alec and James. The food as absolutely yummy and they had lots of interesting veg! I had Pork for the main course and loads of cheese and biscuits for dessert and we had a couple of bottles of wine too! Spent a good couple of hours there and its was only £20ish for everything! All went back to ours and drank more wine from Tesco! Spoke to Dan for 5 mins and went to bed at midnight! A lovely evening!!!
Back to work, got a lift from Dan and as soon as I got in to work, I realised that Dan still had my wallet and cards adn I am not seeing him again until Friday!! Nightmare. Will have to borrow money to go out to Glasnost tomorrow night. Managed to do a long day at work and was BUSY all morning!!! Got home (without James as he was going to Clifton for Pizza!), reheated my food from yesterday and ate it watching Neighbours with Cat. Tried to write a list of meals that I can make over the next two weeks so I don’t have to go food shopping! Talked to my mum on the phone and arramged to go down to Dorchester next month and then realised that if I took some days off next week for househunting then I would only need to spend £10 on food instead of £20 for the month and would save on travel!! Woohoo! Talked to Dan for a couple of hours on the phone, then watched a Queen DVD and went to sleep early so I could get up at 6.45 to make sure I get in enough hours tomorrow to have the day off on Wednesday!
Got up early and convinced Dan to walk with me to work whilst I tested the rollerskates!!! Managed to get there ok even though there was a hill!!!! Had a quick drink in the Wetherspoons and then skated all the way back up the hill!! I nearly collapsed by the time we got back!!!! And it was only 12.30!! Had some lunch then spent all afternoon and evening playing on the paystation and watching DVDs!! The perfect way to spend a Sunday!!!
Got up late and redressed my finger! Jacki and Ross arrived to watch Dawsons creek and we all looked at the pretty rainbows that had appeared outside. There were two but you can only see one in the pic!
Dan and I had soup and pasta for lunch then all 4 of us went in to town. Dan bought me some steri strips to stick my finger back together and got us some food for tomorrow from Tesco metro! Got to the house at 6.30 and there was noone in so we cooked dinner and watched some DVDs then went to bed!
