Blehhhhhhhh, I have just got back from Salisbury and had to walk home from the station in the rain. It is horrible out there! Dan dropped me at the station this morning but we only stayed at the inquiry for the morning so he was still at work when I got back! Oh well, at least I got some exercise!!! :)

After going to work all day and then doing exercise and cooking the dinner, Dan and I went off to Bath to see Treana Morris and The Wire Daisies in the Porter Cellar bar on George Street. Dan drive back so I had a couple of pints!!! :) Treana was excellent but didn’t manage to get any photos and I shall definately buy the album when in comes out (in May?!). They played two 45 min sets and Treana even sang one song from her album which I knew!!! I was also convinced I was sitting next to two Queen fans!!! Got back home at 11.30 and quickly went to bed! Knackered!

Managed to go swimming in the evening plus lots of other exercise!!! Dan came swimming with me and managed 14 lengths while I did 40 :)

Dan and I were the ultimate old married couple!!!! Got up at 9.30 andwent to B&Q in Yate and bought a BBQ!!! Then went to Tesco in Eastville and Dan bought some trousers for work and I bought some Tesco Value jeans (which I tried on over my clothes in teh middle of the shop!!!!) and we also got a bottle of wine to try as we are thinking of getting a case of it off the internet!!! At 11, we went over to Ikea and bought a few important things in there like a shelf insert for our bookcase so we could put even more CDs out!!!!!!!! Got back home for 12.30 and went on the hunt for a pub serving food which was not a Sunday Roast! Tried one in Biddlestone but they only did roasts then went to the Crosskeys on Corsham and I had a lovely cheese plughmans!!!! Yummy! I drove back so Dan had a pint!!!!! Lazed around for the rest of the day!!!!

Dan cut the grass about lunchtime then about 3pm, Rich turned up. We drank Pimms and Lemonade in the garden, then it got freezing cold so we moved inside and drank more!! Watched some DVDs and generally got very drunk! Dan cooked us burgers for dinner and we had a drunken trip to Sainsburys to get more alcohol and some cheese!!!!!!! Drank more and collapsed on the sofa at some early time in the evening!!!!

I have not seen the band but I loved Treana on the Roger Taylor tour so I think this is a must if you can get there!!!!!

Update…….

The Wire Daises will be performing at the Porter Cellar Bar in Bath next Tuesday the 20th April.

We will be playing two, yes two – 45 minute sets that night. The first at 8.45pm and the second starting at 10pm. Doors open at 8pm and best of all its FREE to get in, so there really is no excuse for you to come on down, join us for a drink and enjoy some fine, fine rock n’ roll music…that’s what we’ll be doing anyway…
