Had to drive into work today and managed to get a parking space near the office as I left so early!! Totally knackered!

Could not move all day due to the pain! Managed to got o Sainsburys for some food and that was it!!!

35 miles- Bristol to Bath and back!!

Got to Bedminster about 11 and Ross, James, Dan and I set off on the cycle to Bath! Got to the start of the cycle path near my office and there was a fire in a bush. It was only small but we called the fire brigade. About 5 mins later, it was massive and some people from the industrial estate came out with some buckets which nearly managed to put it out then the fire brigade turned up to sort it all out. Madness! We continued along the path through some dodgy areas of Bristol then fianally got out into the countryside! :) After along time and lots of stops, we got to a pub in Saltford where we stopped for some lunch. Whilst I was in the toilet, Dans boss cycled past the pub and I missed him!!! We managed to catch up with him just before getting into bath! He had given up there but we carried on and got to Bath city centre!! Had an icecream then it started to rain while James was in the bookshop getting some maps. We very quickly cycled away from Bath to escape the rain and stopped a few times on the way back including at Wick to pose for the above photo!!! Finally got back to Bedminster minus James at 6. Had fish and chips and could hardly move due to the pain!!! Dan drove back to Chippenham and we got back about 8. I had a bath to soothe the pain then we went to bed exhausted!!

Didn’t quite realise just how tired I am- I was asleep until 10.30. Got up at 12.45 and made Dan some lunch as he was coming home for lunch! We worked out how much mney we have left to pay off the Mint card which we bought all our furniture on when we moved in together, and how this related to his profit share he is getting at the end of this month. Dan went back to work and I am now back in bed. Was meant to be exercising and just can’t be bothered!!!

Back to work today and totally knackered!!!!

Travelled up on the train first class with Nigel on Monday and had a slight delay! Went drinking in the college bar after the lectures!
Had a full day of lectures on Tuesday. I managed to have a fried breakfast and cereal for breakfast, followed by 4 plates of food for lunch then a starter, main and 2 desserts for dinner! A group of us went out to a few pubs in Easingwold for the evening and used the one taxi driver in Easingwold who had to make 3 trips!!! A lovely village with SO many pubs! Wednesday basically involved travelling all day after a group exercise in the morning. Virgin trains threw us off the train at Birmingham after a delay and made us get in a very packed train, further delays and I finally got home at 8pm! :(

Dan and I went for a 12 mile cycle ride to Calne today! Drove to the other side of Chippenham and joined the cycle path there. I have run out of hayfever tablets so starting taking my spray stuff but it doesn’t take effect for a few days so my hayfever as awful on the ride. It went along an old railway and there was alot of woodland around. Such a lovely day to cycle though. Stopped in Calne for an Ice-cream, England supporters as far as the eye could see! We cycled back again which seemed to take less time. Dan did a bbq when we got back but even I found it too hot to sit in the garden the whole time, and I love the sun! Was so tired after all the heat, exercise and eating and slept for the rest of the afternoon!

Dan and I decided that we never chill out enough so this is the weekend for it. Lots of sun and lots of food!!!

Went in to Chippenham town centre in the morning and I bought some shoes for work and 4 new tops (which were only £5 each!). Went out cycling about 2ish and cycled to the pub in Biddestone. They had stopped serving food so we had a drink there and then cycled into Corsham. Stopped at the Somerfield and got some sandwiches. There seemed to be alot of strange people hanging around outside, very odd!!! We then cycled round some country lane to easton and back to Chippenham from there! It was a 10 mile round trip! Realxed doing nothing apart from sitting in the sun all afternoon! Got Finding Nemo out on DVD to watch in the evening. Ate lots of chocolate and some chicken fajitas then watched the film! It was excellent! Went out for an evening walk then watched a programme called 80’s mania which had ANITA DOBSON presenting it! Was looking for Brian in the audience but I didn’t spot him!!!

Its my brothers birthday today- Happy birthday!!! :)
