Dan was determined to find a geocache so we went to try and find the Wombles one in the Woods near our house and after 45 mins of looking in the dirt, trees and ivy, Dan gave up! I was freezing by this point and my new boots were covered in mud. Then we had to drive to the Biddestone one which proved much easier! :)

Ended up in Bristol as James had a problem with his computer so Dan had to go and fix it. After that we went geochaching to find and find the Hotwells geocache which proved impossible and it was raining and cold so we gave up. James cooked us some pasta bake to warm us all up!

Had the most unexciting day trying to do 6 months worth of filing before I change jobs in a weeks time. It was awful- I HATE FILING!!!! Was also in the office from 8am-6.30pm. Awful!

Woohoo! We went to Bristol Zoo for an event with work today so were in the conference centre most of the day but we also got to look around the zoo at lunchtime! It was so cool as I haven’t been since I was young and we got the train up from Dorchester! Ann and I saw a lion and we walked round the reptile house!! Dan and I most go there properly one day so I can see everything!

Met Ross to walk back from work then went over to Jacki’s and she cooked. Dan was very late as the traffic in Bristol was awful because of the M4 being closed all day. Nightmare. Went to Hengrove cinema which was basically empty which Jacki informs me is because someone broke in there the other day and there was also a fire there! Lovely! Bridget Jones 2 was really and we laughed all the way through!

Decided to try and eat healthly by trying some aduki beans so I attempted to make aduki bean and soya mince casserole. It had the following ingredients in it:

-Aduki beans
-Dried soya chucks
-Tomato sauce stuff
-Red lentils
-Sweetcorn
-Peppers

I mixed it all together and cooked it in the oven for two hours and it didn’t really look like the mixed bean casserole I cooked the other week, it looks more like spag bol or something. I have frozen it and will be trying it sometime soon so I will just have to wait and see!

Managed to do 8000 steps which wasn’t bad considering I was in work all day.

Dan and I also drove round our housing estate to see if my car would still start after all the cold and rain and found there is a geocache near us so we might be going geocaching on Sunday. Dan was very excited about it as he can use his ipaq and gps stuff!

Managed to do 14,400 steps today which is the most I have done since getting my pedometer! Yay!

Went for a walk at lunchtime and also started my new walking up the stairs routine today! Walked to Southville to James’s house where we waited for Dan, Jacki and Ross. Dan arrived first and installed James’s new router and showed him the new maps on Dan’s Ipaq! Jacki and Ross finally arrived an hour late and we walked to Teohs in Bedminster! Had a Tiger beer which wasn’t quite as strong as the Elephant beer I had last time and James managed to end up with beer even though he asked for coke! I had Yakisoba which is the Japanese version of a chinese chicken stir fry thing and it was yummy! We most to Teohs more often as it is cheap and yummy!

Dans parents arrived at 10.30 and we drove off to Avoncliff to go for a walk!

Dan made his dad drive down this awful dirt track which was meant to be a road and the car made a very loud banging noise which wasn’t good but the car seemed to survive! Walked along the canal to Freshford and back which turned out to be 9000 steps altogether plus some I had already done so by the end of the day I did 12,500!!! We went for lunch in the Cross Guns pub where we had to sit outside and it was so cold!! Had a lovely cheese ploughmans with a massive piece of cheese!! We then drove into Bath and looked at the Royal Crescent. Back to our house for afternoon tea then Dans parents left to go back up to Staffordshire.

Dan and I spent the morning cleaning the house and shopping before his parents arrived although I was rather slow as I had a bit of a hangover from last night! His parents arrived about 4ish and we had afternoon tea of homemade scones and shortbread which Dan made this morning! We then went for dinner over at the Angel Hotel where they were staying! It was very yummy but very expensive! Dan and I got a taxi home about 10.30.

Went out for a few drinks after work for a birthday do. As we were leaving the Wetherspoons, a fire engine pulled up in the square and loads of firemen got out- they were a marching band!! It was all for someones retirement do so we stayed and watched for a while! Really cool! Met Cat in the Shakesphere and was quite drunk by about 9 then as I was preaping to leave, someone smashed a window! There was blood everywhere and the Police turned up to arrest him so I figured it was time to go home before things got too out of hand! Train was only delayed by a few mins but did change platform. Got chatting to some Bath uni students on the train then got back to Chippenham where Dan was waiting for me. We got some fish and chips which I must have been drunk enough to pay for and went home!
