Our poor dead washing machine had to go to the tip today :( It was bloody heavy but we managed to get it there! Bye bye washing machine!

Dan went to Exeter today to get measured for a suit for our friends wedding which left me at home all day so I decided to have my hair cut for the first time since November 2003!!! Had about 3 inches chopped off and some layers put in! This inspired me to get some conditioner and wax to try and keep in nice so I went to Wilkinsons and bought a 900ml bottle of TRESemme conditioner and some cheepo wax!

Picked up my new set of contact lenses and walked all the way home! Spent most of the afternoon on the internet til Dan got home and we watched Pulp fiction.. again I missed the end coz I fell asleep! Must try harder to stay awake!

Woohoo! Worked out that if I was going to get to my target of having 26 flexi days off this year I would have to take a half day today (as you can only take a certain amount per month and I haven’t taken any in Feb!). Asked Dave if he wanted to have one too as he had far too much flexi time so we left work at 12!! I managed to do the monthly shop in the afternoon and got my pin number right on my card (last attempt!). Only spent £85 instead of the silly £145 we spent last month! It shopped so much as I left the shop and I froze! Was very proud of myself and managed to put all the shopping into ‘bag for life’ type bags that I found buried at the back of the cupboard! Trying to do my bit for the environment!

Was then super house wife and cleaned the house and had dinner on the table when Dan got home- yummy lasagne! We watched ‘A shark’s tale‘ on DVD which was brilliant apart from the fact I fell asleep and missed the end! Oooops!

Went to the Thomas Hardye pub (which used to be the trumpet major!) for lunch with Gran. Grandad, David and Morgan! Morgan was in a mood when they (finally) arrived and wouldn’t speak to us!! LOL! She sound got out of it though and did some colouring in and played on the swings!

Went to the Dorset record office in the morning and Dan helped me go through some census information while I looked at baptism registers. Still can’t find my great grandfather but did foind his father and grandfather!! Left the record office and picked up my mum, went up to see Gran and Grandad quickly then went to Mcdonalds for lunch! David then brought Morgan out to Maiden Newton for the afternoon. In the evening, we drank lots of wine and sang to Bruce songs! LOL! Dan tried to ignore us by sorting out mums computer!

Finally feeling a bit better today but decided to stay off work to make sure- in bed until 3 then had to get up and ready for our journey to Dorchester!
