Had the day off as a extra day for the Queen’s birthday. I love my job!!
Got up at 9 after Dan went to work and looked on the net to discover that Queen and Paul Rodgers are going to play in Aruba in the Caribbean in October and someone I know has already booked tickets. This sent me in to a panic about whether to go or not. I looked up at the tv (BBC news) and suddenly Brian and Roger were on there getting the Ivor Novello award. It was such a shock and I screamed so loud I expect the neighbours thought I was being murdered. Decided to record BBC news 24 incase it was on again but this involved being on the phone to Dan while he explained how to wire up the video to the sky. I didn’t even know which one was the scart lead! Got all that sorted and managed to get it again about midday!! Yay!!

Spent all day on the forums and just about managed to get dressed, pack, do some washing up and booked tickets to see Queen in Portugal!!

Left for Dorset at 6 and I asked Dan if he wanted to go to the Caribbean to see Queen and he said no. I suggested that if we didn’t move house in Sept and waited until March 2006 that he could afford it and we could have a fantastic holiday too and after a bit of thinking he agreed!! As soon as we got to mum’s house, I booked two Gold circle tickets!!! LOL! My mum now thinks I am totally mad. We drank lots of wine and listened to Bruce then headed off to bed!

Queen got two awards at the event held at the Grosvnor house hotel in London yesterday afternoon!

My last day at work for 4 days! Yay! Had to send out my weekly newsletter at 9am instead of 2pm today so did so much work between 7.30 and 9 then took it easy for the rest of the day!! Found that the Belfast pix had appeared on Paul Rodgers website, along with the message I sent him!!! LOL!

Arrrrrrgggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh. After being off sick for most of last week, I think I might kill myself if I hear that crazy frog ringtone advert.

Today is the first day that I felt well since the Cardiff gig over 2 weeks ago which was useful as we got to work at 7 and didn’t leave until 18.45 and I was on my own all day! Boring! Had a headache by the time I got home. Luckily Dan had cooked for me then I went to bed. Knackered!

I think I am starting to feel better although I was so knackered when I got home and fell asleep on the sofa!

Jacki and Ross flew to Australia today! Lucky them!! I made it back to work and just about got through the day. Made the mistake of wearing my new boots again and ended up with massive blisters again when I got home! Still ill but getting better slowly!

Didn’t move from the sofa all day in the hope that I would feel better for work on Monday. I am so bored now. There is only so much of that bloody crazy frog you can stand although Judge Judy is so cool!

Dan and I went in to town today and my foot was playing up again so I had to hobble round very slowly. Dan ordered his new frameles glasses which are going to be well sexy- they should arrive next week!! Went and got a toy dyson hoover for Morgan for her birthday next weekend. Went home via Sainsburys and by the time we got home, I was exhausted. Still got this bloody flu bug and I am totally knackered all the time! Gave up on life and ended up back on the sofa under the duvet for the rest of the day!

As roger-taylor.net reported, Roger Taylor will be playing in Cyprus with the SAS Band on 16th June. It has now been reported in the Daily mirror!
