It was so strange being in the Wetherspoons in Dorchester last night with Ross and Jacki who have just got back from Oz. Everyone looked so young in there, just like we used to (although it wasn’t even a Wetherspoons back then!!!). We saw a girl who we think was in the year above us at school - will have to look at some first school photos!!
Drank too much Thatchers Perry pear cider stuff and now I feel sick!
That elusive front row seat you’ve always wished for can now be yours, as a special cinema edit of film of the band on tour heads for nationwide cinema screenings. (Ha ha!!! We were in the front row at every show we went to!!)
The film will initially be seen in eight cities, extending right across the country. The screenings are particularly aimed at reaching those areas where Queen + Paul Rodgers were unable to include in their European Spring tour, in particular Scotland, Wales, and the West, where the film will be seen in Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Bristol. (I thought I went to see Queen and Paul Rodgers in Cardiff but nevermind!!)
Behind these special one-off cinema presentations is leading UK exhibitor Vue cinemas, which has persuaded Queen + Paul Rodgers to allow it to play the film to highlight the cinema chain’s enhanced in-screen digital technology now being introduced across its cinemas. For Queen, a band which has always embraced new technology, it gives their fans the chance of seeing and hearing the band in a whole new dimension.
It may be a while before we see the band back on the road, so seize this opportunity to see them as never before: Queen + Paul Rodgers – even larger than live.

Queen’s performance at Live Aid comes top in a poll to find the world’s greatest rock gig!!
Went to see some fireworks at Shrugborough with Dan’s parents. A freezing cold night so we wrapped up warm, had some warm west country punch and a hot dog!! :) They played some great music including ‘Don’t stop me now’!!!
