Pizza making competition
I think Terry won, mine looked more like a loaf of bread!!

Terry and I went over to Spain to surprise his mum and dad who were there on holiday for a week! We flew on Thursday night from Bristol to Malaga then stayed in Malaga for the night! We went out for my favourite, tapas as we arrived quite late and had over done it with the wine on the way there! :) Our hotel was very close to Malaga cathedral and the old town!

The next day we walked to the bus station and stopped off at a local market on the way! We then got the bus from Malaga to Nerja. It took about an hour and a half to get to Nerja. When we got off the bus, it was lovely and sunny! We got some very odd looks walking to the hotel, I was dressed in black and Terry was dressed in dark blue and black!
We checked into the hotel, put on some summer clothes and went for a wander!

We bumped into Terry’s mum and dad near their hotel so we went down to the beach and had a few drinks during the afternoon! We also saw the hotel that Gordon Ramsey visited in Kitchen Nightmares!

We went back to the hotel for our siesta then got up for dinner in the hotel at 9pm! After dinner, we went for a walk for half an hour then went to bed!

On Saturday, we got up late then bumped into Terry’s mum and dad not far from the hotel. We decided to go on the little train round the town! The man was a bit of a mad driver and bumped into a car!

We then went and had a few drinks during the afternoon!

We went for our siesta again but this time via a tapas bar! We met up with Terry’s mum and dad again at 7 for more tapas and then went out for dinner! I had very yummy ham croquettes!! I LOVE them!
On the sunday, we had a lie in then went for late lunch in a lovely cafe/bar overlooking the sea! Sat in the sunshine all afternoon then walked back to the hotel via the beach!

Had a siesta again before going out in the evening for Chinese then had an early night! Got up at 7am on the Monday to fly back to Bristol!
Anita Dobson on This Morning earlier today!
PS: What a great position for you to be in, picking and choosing the best roles and doing what you want.
AD: Yeah, it’s kind of, it’s wonderful, it is wonderful and I’m very privileged and very aware of that fact, but it is also quite difficult because I’ve never been away on a long tour and I don’t think Brian’s looking forward to it too much.
PS: Well after you finish in August, doesn’t he then go off and do his own tour?
AD: Yes and I can go with him. He doesn’t go to Standon. He goes to Moscow and Paris so I can go with him, which will be nice.
FERN BRITTON: Is this a big big big tour that he’s doing as well?
AD: I think about 3 months. He’s doing some European dates and then he’ll come back and do some dates in England.
PS: Tough to be a part of it.
AD: It is, but, you know, we’ve been together 21 years and he’s toured for a lot of that and, you know, if you care for each other, you find a way. I mean, it’s not easy. Marriage isn’t easy. No relationship’s easy. Life isn’t easy, but you find a way.
Brian appeared on This Morning at 10.40am today and announced that Queen and Paul Rodgers will hopefully be touring later in the year!!! Get saving your pennies now :)

Terry got me a suprise trip to Edinburgh for New Year! We drove up from near Sunderland on 30th December, stopping along the way!
First stop was Alnwick Castle!

We then stopped to have a look at Bamburgh Castle.
Next stop was Seahouses where Terry used to go and visit relatives when he was little!
We carried on heading North and then went to Holy Island where we got out to have a look around!
We saw the Priory and the Castle!

We also went for a quick look around Berwick upon Tweed!
We got to Edinburgh about lunchtime and went to the Royal Yacht Britannia which I thought was fantastic!!

The entrance was in the Ocean Terminal shopping centre so did lots of shopping afterwards! For dinner, we caught the bus into Edinburgh and went to the Hard Rock Cafe where I discovered 2 Queen pictures!

We also went to see the street entertainment - line dancing and extreme hairdressing!! Had a lovely evening then headed back to the hotel in Leigh!
The next day we got up early and went to Deep Sea World where we got to see evil poisonous frogs and some sharks! To get there, we had to drive over the Forth Road Bridge and also got to the see the Forth Rail Bridge!! They were HUGE!!

We then headed back to Edinburgh and checked into the Hilton at the end of Princes Street which was a fantastic hotel! The staff wore tartan trousers!!

Went out for lunch/dinner mid afternoon to Pizza Hut where we stuffed our face with pizza ready for the evening then saw the castle!

Went back to the hotel for a few hours sleep before going out about 9pm! Went to a pub for a few drinks then went to the Street Party! It was manic and so packed with people! You had to queue for ages for the bar and toilets! We ended up with 500 ml cups filled with wine to keep us going! Watched the fireworks over the castle at midnight which were probably the second best fireworks I have ever seen (Disney World were the best!).

Happy new year everyone!! I just wish I'’d remembered my proper camera :(

I'm Sarah, I'm 28 and I'm from the West Country. I have liked Queen since 1991. I saw Roger 14 times on the Electric Fire tour and I went to 21 shows on the Queen & Paul Rodgers tour!
