Work

Made it to work as I have a course on Microsoft Word today which I have been waiting for years to do!! Felt bad and even fell asleep at one point but I made it through!

Very boring day today. Drove to work at 6.20am (far too early) and left work at 6pm (far too late!).

Was on a training course today- feel asleep at least 20 times due to severe lack of sleep!!

Stayed over at Ross’ house last night so got to walk to work! Went out to ‘Over the moon’ on Victoria Street for my old teams works Christmas lunch. Managed to go back to work for an hour before leaving again for the pub!

Got to go to our Dorking office today which oddly meant that I got to have a lie in and some exercise whilst walking to the station. Arrived at 1o.30, met new big boss, watched presentation and was on the train home by 13.30! Even managed to fit some more Christmas shopping in!

I have now been in my new job for 2 weeks and have managed to actually be in the office for 3 and a half days! Must try harder :)

Women’s development in Exeter again- our last session :( We got to make posters using glitter glue and had double the amount of sandwiches as not many people turned up! Do I feel empowered as a woman?! Not sure :)

Going to work after having 4 hours sleep is not good. Am I getting old?! I’m sure it never used to feel this bad!

Pay day again and even though I have managed to pay off my debts, I am still slightly overdrawn )or at least I will be by the end of this month). Oh well, there is always next month where we get our back pay which will not be much anyway! At least I get a bonus this time!

Started my new job today. I seem to be updating the intranet, editing the weekly newsletter and making splash screen things. Doesn’t seem to hard so fingers crossed!

Today was the my last day in my current job and I am changing teams on Monday! Went to the pub at lunchtime and met Keith and had a drink with some of my old team. Went down the pub at 4 to meet Keith again for more drink and got the train home. Dan went out for a Chinese for someones leavin g do so I ate fattening food and went to bed very early to try and sleep off some of the alcohol!
